Yesterday evening , S distributed Ramadan treat bags ( dates and sweets ) to neighbors. She was excited and got tired after she came back .

JazakAllah khair to the sister. We really enjoyed the game and guess what Subhana won the game! Her level self esteem eventually increased !

Plan is for week by week of Ramadan inshAllah. We will be doing  review of arabic huroof through Islamic Vocabulary and concepts. eg Ha - Hilal, R - Ramadan, Kha - Khair.  One Arabic number will also be introduced every week with related concept and activities. eg Wahid - One Allah

Huroof:
ه - Hilal (crescent moon)

Everyday , S would be maintaining her Ramdan Journal . We would be doing activities from different resources on internet. Specially jazakAllah khair to Umm Maimoonah from where we have got the idea of maintaining a Ramadan journal which she did last year with her daughter . May Allah make easy for us too , aameen. Welcome Ramadan Party !

Assalam u alaikum !!!

Yesterday we had welcome ramadan party at our place. We did puppet show , pass game quiz , date game blindfold , let's learn Quran with Zaky and snacks time . kids made a ramadan resolution poster too .Here are the pics :

she put dates , chocolate candies and almonds for ramadan goody bags

busy busy , having patience toooo.....(actually she was craving to have a chocolate in her mouth.) hehe 

rolling up ribbon on ramadhan calender 7 + age and for teens and ramadhan flash cards for kiddos n toddlers 

all 33 ramadan goody bags ready!!!!

ramadan goody bag includes a prayer rug , a book mark, sweets , dates ,almonds , ramadan calender n flash cards , balooons , ramadan door hanger craft etc etc

she made this poster to welcome evryone 

We played a dates blindfold game in which small children were entertained....they took turns and blindfoldedly each of them put the dates on the palm tree( made of felt).....n eventually got the small prizes too ( colorful pages of muslim kids , masjids ,moon phases etc etc)
