Initial stage to read Quran

Bismillah ,

Assalam u alaikum warahamtullahi wabarakatuh ,

we are using this book published in saudia arabia

AlhamdulilAllah , we have finally started our arabic alphabets with vowels ( fatha , kasra and damma) .

Today , we took a lesson of how to pronounce arabic words.

InshAllah , later we will start ( Fatah tain , Kasra Tain and Damma Tain)

We usually read after Asar Salah .

I am excited to teach my own kid , alhamdulAllah I have been taught by my teachers including my father. He actually taught me with proper Tajweed.

We are going to follow Uthmani Script ( original one) of Quran inshAllah.

I dont think we need to assign a molana sahab to teach Quran to our kids. We must learn knowledge of our deen and must propagate this talent to our dear children too.

Subhana has also been playing on Arabic Play House

There , she revises of what she has known uptill yet and try to learn more by herself. mashallah.

Eeman Reading Series

Bismillah ,

Assalam u alaikum warahmatullahi wabarakatuh,

In the beginning of this year 2012 , we bought Eeman Reading Series for our girl.

As far as we have seen , this series has already been fulfilling its promises.

Subhana has been reading them again and again and never gets bored mashALLAH.

The Eemaan Reading Series is a pioneering effort aimed at establishing an educationally sound and visually attractive collection of graded English readers with Islamic moral content for the primary school level (ages 3-12). Due to the scarcity of such materials in the past, Muslim schools around the world are forced to use books prepared for secular schools which oftentimes contained concepts and ideas in conflict with Islamic norms. Some schools also use our books to teach the akhlaaq (ethics) component of their Islamic studies curriculum through stories about Muslim children having to make moral choices from which they learn and grow.

We bought them from the publisher  www.olivebooks.info

These books are worth buying for your children .

Alhamdulillah , I am not worried how to get islamic reading books for my girl , eeman reading series has solved the problem. These books teaches a child about morals and manners , hadith implementation , importance of prayers and what not!

Eeman reading series has enabled Subhana to read fluently and to speak fluently as well mashAllah . She is speaking in english with a bit grammatical mistakes but still we love to hear her talking.

Increase in vocabulary too.

The stories revolve our deen in a child's mind!

Recently , Subhana made a tent with me after reading a book "The Tent". She tries to implement of whatever she read mashAllah and uses in her daily speech as well.

JazakAllah khair to Bilal Philips and his team. May Allah reward you all immensely for producing these kind of books for muslim children. We are no longer dependent on non muslim stuff. AlhamdulAllah.

waiting for more products like these.

Sidra tul Muntaha Hat!

Bismillah ,

Assalamu alaikum warahmatullahi wabrakatuh ,

One of our family friends kids got a hat project from their school. Their mother consulted  me and asked for ideas. The ideas came up purely by them and we made these hats together at our home.

One hat is showing the horse ride at funland and the other was sidratul muntaha. ( A tree in Jannah)

Swimming !

Bismillah ,

Assalam u alaikum warahamtullahi wabarakatuh,

Swimming !!!!!!!!!!

Thats one word I would say!

Our girl went to the kids swimming pool. Beautiful experience for her besides taking bath in a bath tub ! lol

At first instant , she just stood in the pool with her baba feeling the water all around her. A friend of her bucked her up by just going here and there in the pool. Within minutes , Subhana also started walking in the tube , splashing water over here and there .

We simply had fun!

We have decided to take her on weekends there! lets see how it goes inshAllah! :)
